Upon application submission, the Market Manager shall submit a Certificate of Insurance for general liability coverage in the amount of $100,000/$1,000,000 with the City of Northampton named as an additional insured. Please contact the City Auditor with insurance questions at 413-587-1205.
It is the responsibility of the market's manager or individual vendors to obtain all other applicable local or state permits/licenses.
DHHS requires a vendor permit for various types of establishments and food products sold at markets. Please contact DHHS at 413-587-1214.
If you wish to sell farm-winery products, you must obtain a Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources permit and a one-day license from the Northampton License Commission. For more information, please contact the License Commission at 413-587-1212.
