Northampton Public Schools
The mission of the Northampton Public Schools, in partnership with parents and the Northampton community, is to ensure high achievement by all students and to enable all students to become life-long learners, critical thinkers, and self-fulfilled and socially responsible individuals who value and contribute to a multicultural and diverse global society. Smith Vocational & Agricultural High School (SVAHS)
Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School is a public high school that provides technical and agricultural education to students from throughout western Massachusetts. Smith provides a unique educational experience to any student who wants to make high school an important investment toward career or college success.
SVAHS Adult Community Education & Workforce Development
Smith Adult Community Education (ACE) provides lifelong learners with opportunities to develop hands-on skills and knowledge for employment or just for the fun of it. Instructors are professionals and work as artisans, business owners, educators and masters of their trade. Their enthusiasm is contagious as they share their expertise teaching evening classes and technical workshops.
Early Childhood Center
During the school year, the Early Childhood Center holds daily playgroups Mon-Fri in Northampton and Florence, runs the ParentChild+ Home Visiting Program, supports parents looking for childcare and the Northampton Public Preschool through the Preschool Partnership, helps with screening and supporting children who are referred for evaluation for special services, and holds parenting and family fun workshops and events. During the summer, it runs other playgroups and continues to support parents in any ways it can.

Northampton Education Foundation
The Northampton Education Foundation (NEF) is a nonprofit organization created to fund projects and programs that expand educational opportunities, foster creativity, and enhance academic experiences in Northampton's public schools. NEF has recently merged with Save Our Schools (SOS), a private, nonprofit organization that raises and distributes funds to each Northampton public school for library and educational materials and provides public education/public policy outreach, and policy formulation regarding increasing the public funding base for public education.
Northampton Prevention Coalition
The Northampton Prevention Coalition works to collaboratively initiate, coordinate, and sustain prevention and intervention efforts that reduce teen substance use in the City of Northampton.
Volunteers in Northampton Schools, Inc.
Volunteers in Northampton Schools, Inc. is a private, nonprofit agency that recruits and trains volunteers to serve in Northampton Public Schools and Smith Vocational High School.
