Stormwater & Flood Control

The City of Northampton is responsible for both the stormwater and the flood control systems, which are vital to the protection of property and safety of individuals throughout the City.

The Stormwater System collects rainwater and snowmelt in pipes and moves it to various water bodies throughout the City.  See the links below for more information on:

The Stormwater & Flood Control Utility went into effect July 1, 2014 to raise revenues to maintain & repair both systems.  For more information click here.
