19.012 A Resolution Establishing a Select Committee on Pesticide Reduction was sponsored by City Councilors Alisa F. Klein and James B. Nash and unanimously approved in second reading on March 21, 2019. For a copy of the resolution, click here.
The Select Committee on Pesticide Reduction was established to review the use of pesticides on city-owned property and make recommendations for reducing pesticide use. Per its charter, the committee is required to submit a report to the City Council by November 10, 2019 that includes practical and legislative recommendations to reduce pesticide use in Northampton.
