The Northampton DHHS Division of Community Care (DCC) is proud to partner with Community Legal Aid (a non-profit civil legal aid program that provides free services to low-income and elderly residents of western and central Massachusetts) and provide direct referrals for community members who need legal services, including consultations and legal representation.
Through this collaboration, the DCC and Community Legal Aid support individuals in navigating legal challenges that are often exacerbated by poverty, mental illness, and substance use.
