MassDOT has scheduled a full closure of Interstate 91, between exits 23 and 26, for six (6) nights starting next week:
- Sunday, June 8
- Monday, June 9
- Tuesday, June 10
- Wednesday, June 11
- Thursday, June 12
- Sunday, June 15
Traffic management measures will begin at 8:00 p.m., with full closure in effect from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
Soundbound traffic will leave the interstate via exit 26 (Route 5/North King Street) and travel along Route 5 south through downtown Northampton to the on ramp at exit 23 (Mount Tom Road).
Northbound traffic will leave the interstate via exit 23 (Route 5/Mount Tom Road) and travel along Route 5 north through downtown Northampton to the on ramp at exit 26 (North King Street).
The on ramp at exit 25 (Route 9/Bridge Street) will also be closed.
