Child Passenger Safety Inspection and Education

About Our Services

The Northampton Department of Health and Human Services inspectional and public health nursing services provide collaborative child passenger safety inspections and education for caregivers. All of our staff providing car seat education and inspection services are certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPSTs). 

Parents, guardians, grandparents, family friends, and all who are providing care for children, are encouraged to make an appointment to learn the ins and outs of child passenger safety and car seat installation. We encourage you to bring your child to your appointment, but it is not required.
