Process note: Councilor Foster made the request to TPC to change the word "handicapped" to "accessible" in the heading of SECTION 3 - Section 312-17 Schedule XVI: On Street and Off-Street Handicapped Accessible Parking Spaces. The Transportation and Parking Commission felt it did not have the ability to alter this language because it would not be consistent with the wording elsewhere in the City. According to Cyndi Quinn, the TPC is in favor of the change if the Council would like to vote to make this change.
