Electronic billing is now available for real estate and personal property tax bills

The City of Northampton is now offering electronic billing for real estate and personal property tax bills. The convenience of paperless billing is now available through UniPay’s new electronic billing feature.  With electronic billing you will receive an email notice as soon as your bill is available for payment.  You then have the option of going “paperless” receiving an ebill or choosing the option to continue to receive a paper bill in the mail.

Using the online service is easy, with access to your bills and payment history available 24 hours a day/365 days a year and if you need a copy, just print it out.

Currently this service is available for real estate and personal property tax bills, however, the city will be working to expand this service to utility bills in the future.

To learn about how to use this new service, see the on-line tutorial the City’s Treasurer/Collector homepage:  https://www.northamptonma.gov/219/TreasurerCollector or log-in to your existing Unipay account and follow the instructions for electronic billing enrollment.
