18.169 National Grid/Verizon New England Pole Petition for Dryads Green

In accordance with the provisions of Section 22, Chapter 166 of the General Laws, a public hearing will be held on November 15, 2018 @ 7:05 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 212 Main Street, Northampton, on the petition of National Grid/Verizon New England to erect poles and wires upon, along, under or across one or more public ways - Dryads Green (Pole Petition #27045389).

18.200 An Order to Approve Pole Petition for Dryads Green (See documents above)

Process note: 
The DPW has requested the following conditions since the proposed pole location may conflict with the sewer lateral coming from House #55 or #57:
  1. When the new hole for the new pole location has been opened, it shall be inspected by the DPW prior to the pole being placed.
  2. If the sewer lateral is disturbed in any way it must be repaired/relocated by the developer at the direction of the City Engineer. 
National Grid must obtain a Trench Permit issued by the City of Northampton prior to Excavation.
